So… It finally happened!
This week I held my very first Makeup Masterclass!
I had a true Huda Beauty moment and it felt amazing!
It was such a success…the venue was packed, people were scribbling down notes like crazy, wine was flowing and the model was gorgeous! – Lots more to come on this but for now I thought I’d start with my prep!
Prep got REAL!!! Like, I was about to be on stage in front of 70 women all staring and inspecting my face, I had to look the part!
Here’s a little breakdown of my prep process because…
I absolutely did NOT wake up like this!
I Started off with some serious bath time pamper the evening before…with a hydrating bath bomb, some oils for super soft skin, and most importantly a good face mask! I used (one of my favs) the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask to ensure I was hydrated, plump and fresh ready for my full glam the next day! (You can’t see in the pic below but I even had on a set of Mr Blanc Teeth Whitening Strips). I added a little tan glow with Dove’s Gradual tan for a soft bronzed skin as to not be too orange under the stage lights!
After this the lovely Chantelle Finselbach (who you can find at The Hair Lounge, Fforestfach) came over to give me one of her famous curly blow dries! If you haven’t got one of these from Chantelle…you haven’t lived! At this point I was all roller’d up and ready for my beauty sleep!
The ‘Big Day’ was rather a blur…nerves started to kick in! So I spent most of the day packing notebooks and gift bags into the car, before locking myself into my glam room to start the process! There was hair extensions, false lashes and fragrance everywhere! I really do love getting ready! I don’t get to glam myself too often, so when I do I sit, relax and enjoy! There’s a little video below for you all to see start to finish…
Giving myself the look of the night…
The BRONZE Edition!
Here’s the finished look, with me all Madonna like, head mic on, and ready to take to the stage!
Thank you so much to every single person that came down to the event! I had such a good time with you all and can’t wait to do it all again (oops…spoiler alert!!!)
